Product Functions, Composition & Usage

This product contains over 50 species of beneficial effective micro-organisms (EM) for organic composting. Most of them are aerobic, Gram-positive EM. It functions by enhancing the decomposition of organic gardening and farm wastes (green and brown matters) in composting process to produce fertilizer that can:
1. improve soil physical, chemical and biological properties for root growth and development;
2. stimulate plant immune system and enhance crop resistance to various diseases;
3. increase nutrient recycling (N, P, K, etc.) in soil for plant direct absorption;
4. increase resistance to various pests in soil, including nematodes, thus improving crop yield.
Active Ingredient: vermiculite, rice bran, oyster shell powder, fish milk, yeast powder, bone powder and dextrin as prebiotic materials for the EM.
Recommended Usage:
1. 1 kg of SOBE EM Microbial can be used to treat 1-3 ton of organic compost materials.
2. To produce 1 ton of organic biofertilizer by composting using this product, the SOBE EM Microbial must first be activated in the following way:
3. Into a 100 Liter plastic barrel, add 1 kg of SOBE EM Microbial powder, 3 kg of brown sugar/molasses, 3 kg of rice bran and 60-80 Liter of water. Stir the mixture well and pump air through this mixture continuously for 24 hours.
4. Apply the activated EM solution evenly to the compost materials and then mix well.
5. Cover the compost pile up with water-impermeable and light-resistant plastic sheet and keep its moisture content at 50-60%.
6. To facilitate the composting process, turnover the compost material for aeration once a week and continue for the next 2-3 weeks. Fermentation should then be complete and the materials is ready for use as an organic biofertilizer.
7. After application, keep the fertilized soil moist for the EM to function well.
Note:
The biofertilizer produced by composting using this product can be used with other fertilizers (including chemical fertilizers) and soil conditioners to increase soil fertility.
